Currently we have been retained by a B2B technology startup for search of their CEO. Our client is 3 year old startup in B2B product space. Company is profit making company with 300+ paying clients. Mandate for CEO is to oversee the next generation of growth for the company. We are looking for a very dynamic sales and business oriented CEO who can take company to next level. We are specifically looking for some one who can bring relationships with big as well as mid-sized IT companies in co-selling their solutions. Person should have good relations with decision makers and must have sold solutions together with IT services companies.
This is a sales oriented role. Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and strategizing direction of the company for coming 1 year. 3 year and 5 years time frame.
- Creating world class sales and business development structure for the company.
- Reporting to the Board of Directors. Keep them informed about policy issues and make appropriate recommendations
- Provide executive leadership across the organization
- Evaluate, develop and implement operational policies
- Act as a primary spokesperson for the organization in private and public forums
- Provide vision, direction and focus to the organization
- Develop, mentor and grow the organization
Key Skills required
- Have a high level of commercial acumen, understand P & L, Balance sheet and cash flow management
- 12-15 years- experience in sales and at least last 5 yrs. in telecom, telematics verticals
- Proficiency in English and a regional language
- Post-Graduate degree, MBA preferred
- Should have experience in selling to key accounts, building partnerships and sales channels
- Manage pre-pilot and pilot test activities with identified customers
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication
- Inspire team to over-achieve and delegate effectively.
- Strong can-do, problem solving attitude
- Ability to raise funds
