Key Responsibilities :   - Build and maintain a strategic view of the capabilities required to support business needs, product roadmap, platform evolution and innovation.  - Define and maintain the current and target technology architecture, roadmaps, enterprise data and metadata structures for all aspects of platform, product and applications; help embed great focus on product management and re-use. Own and maintain strong architecture governance, including the implementation of an enterprise design authority and technology policy and standards.   - Communicate architectural decisions, plans, goals and strategies.  - Develop, communicate and deploy Enterprise Architecture processes, maintain Enterprise Architecture repository and tool set.  - Define, own and oversee the implementation an enterprise application and integration platform, including full support for a externally facing payments APIs.  - Partner Technology Operations and Information Security, ensuring solutions developed are operationally ready, maintainable and reliable.  - Be the organizational catalyst for technology innovation, focused on market trends and opportunities and building early stage development partnerships with external partners large and small.  Experience / Skills Required :   - A senior payment technologist with deep understanding of all aspects of highly available and scalable platform and technical architecture having come from a strong engineering or development background.  - Must have direct and recent experience in banking and payments processing.  - Proven ability to shape effective technology solutions to complex business problems.  - Articulate with the ability to effectively engage senior stakeholders while maintaining the ability to engage technology teams at the lowest level of detail.  - In depth understanding of software engineering and integration (principally in Java, Oracle, service oriented architectures and related technologies).  - Passionate leader, able to operate at pace and scale.  - Thought leader, role model, coach and mentor.  Key Measures Of Success :   - Architectures and solutions that deliver and scale to the organization's needs.  - Enhanced maintainability, reliability, resilience and security through design and engineering.
