Chief Digital Officer - Manufacturing

Summary of the Job: 

 We are looking for a senior, execution focused digital lead with a strong technology background to drive the digitization of all parts of our value chain. The digital lead will be tasked with identifying and executing value creative initiatives using user centric design, agile management, and lean startup methodologies. You will report directly to the CEO of and run cross functional projects to improve sales, optimize logistics, explore opportunities in industrial internet, and optimize resource consumption. 

- You will interact extensively with the shared IT service center in the region, but will also be required to select and manage external technology providers. 

- You will be the linking pin of the organization into the broader digital transformation effort of the entire group and collaborate with the group CDO as well as the digital lead of our Indian sister company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish and lead the digital team for the organization

- Identify and prioritize key initiatives across all parts of our value chain

- Ideate specific solutions with user centric design methodology

- Execute projects in agile management / with lean startup methodology

- Coordinate internal IT resources from our shared service center as well as external technology providers

- Contribute to internal best practice sharing with our sister company as well as with other units of the group

- Give input to the overall digital strategy and transformation effort coordinated by our group CDO. Support the cultural transformation of our company to become a more agile, networked, data driven organization.
