Job Description - An opportunity to work for an established E-commerce set-up based out of Mumbai in the Machine Learning space, actively leading and mentoring a team of Data Scientists.

Our Client is an established E-commerce organization with a prominence across various avenues on the internet. They are looking for a Machine Learning expert to join their Mumbai set up to lead and nurture their existing set-up to bring in more growth.

Description

Reporting into the Head of Data Sciences, you shall be responsible for:

- Building Recommendation Engine Model, propensity models involving application of core machine learning and statistical modeling, NLP and computer vision techniques

- Improve the overall quality, performance, and effectiveness of product features and fine-tune and improve existing models

- Deriving insights from the data collected by the company and guiding the way forward

- Actively mentor and lead the Data Sciences team to explore and innovate for formulating a strategy for the data science and analytics functions of the organization

Profile

As a successful candidate, you should have :

- University degree ideally in Statistics, Analytics, Engineering or a related discipline; Advanced degree is a plus3 - 10 years of experience in solving complex analytical and data science problems with copious amounts of data across Machine Learning, NLP and Computer Vision

- Experience in Recommendation Systems, Optimization Techniques, various Machine Learning models, Statistical Modelling and Computer Vision algorithms is expected

- Proficiency in R, SQL, and Python

- Strong intrinsic problem-solving skills, ability to structure and solve problems and conduct and interpret analysis independently, with demonstrated analytics and quantitative skills

- Ability to deliver quality solutions within tight timelines is expected

- Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively
