Chief Data Scientist - KPO

Chief Data Scientist to work closely and collaboratively with cross-functional domain experts to identify gaps and solve real-world forecasting and supply chain problems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in developing advanced analytics and machine learning algorithms, particularly in supply chain and forecasting for Retail, CPG and Manufacturing clients, and experience leading a data science team

Responsibilities and duties:

- Develop company's IP machine learning algorithms for the supply chain and forecasting domain with data science toolkits lie Python, R or SAS

- Lead a highly capable data science team, and develop talent by training and coaching the Forecasting & Digital Supply Chain practice's data science team

- Own delivery excellence for key accounts and clients and act as India lead for the business unit.

- Lead research and development efforts for efficient, robust machine learning algorithms

- Create meaningful presentations and analyses that tell a story, focused on insights, to communicate results and ideas to key decision makers at Company, and with client companies

- Support presales efforts and growth targets

Qualifications and skills:

Experience / Education

- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Applied Math or another related field. 12+ years work experience in quantitative data analysis to solve problems, including experience with forecasting and optimization problems; implementing data analytics solutions with Python, R and SAS;

- Work with cloud Big Data Stack to orchestrate data gathering, cleansing, preparation and modelling. Master's candidates with exceptional track record will be considered for the position.

- Skilled in machine learning and data analytics, pattern recognition and predictive modelling

- Strong communication and presentation skills. Effective communication and story-telling skills
