Chief Data Scientist - Decision Sciences Team - Banking

About Our Client :

Our client is a leading global banking client and they are looking at hiring Machine learning experts for their Decision Sciences team.

Job Description :

As a Lead, you would be part of their Next Generation Decision Sciences team. This team is responsible for providing high end data sciences solution for the entire organization across diverse business. You would be required to provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise to Decision Management globally.

The Successful Applicant :

As a successful applicant you should have :

- Bachelors/Masters/Ph.D. in Economics, Statistics, Engineering i.e, Computer Science or academic equivalent

- 10+ years of machine learning algorithm experience

- In-depth technical knowledge and experience text analytics, pattern mining/detection etc.

- Solid hands on experience in R, Mahout, Matlab, Python, SQL and Excel.

- Experience with Big Data. Distributed computing (e.g. map/reduce) is a plus, especially Hadoop, Mahout, Pig.

- Strong problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities
