Position Overview:

As the Chief Data Officer, you will be responsible for driving our data strategy to enhance business performance and operational efficiency. You will oversee all aspects of data management, analytics, governance, and innovation. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in data management, analytics, and leadership, with a focus on mentoring analytics and data science teams in developing predictive solutions and business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

- Lead the design and implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, privacy, and security.

- Mentor analytics and data science teams to develop predictive solutions and insights that inform business strategy and drive operational efficiency.

- Drive data-driven decision-making by providing insights and analytics to support strategic initiatives across the organization.

- Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to optimize processes, improve customer experience, and drive revenue growth.

- Oversee the development and maintenance of data infrastructure, including data warehouses, data lakes, and analytics platforms.

- Lead the development of innovative data-driven solutions to address business challenges and opportunities.

- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data management and analytics.

- Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organization, promoting a culture of belonging and respect for all employees.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

- Minimum of 15 years of experience in data management, analytics, and leadership roles, with a focus on mentoring analytics and data science teams in developing predictive solutions and business insights.

- Proven track record of developing and implementing data strategies that drive business value and competitive advantage.

- Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and security principles and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

- Experience working in the insurance industry or financial services sector preferred.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
