CHIEF BUSINESS OFFICER - DIGITAL SOLUTIONS (CBO)
This is a CXO position, reporting into the MD & CEO and primarily a market facing role - to lead a new pan-India digital solutions business vertical with its own P&L. The CBO will work with strategic partners, ranging from OTT and e-commerce to ed-tech and fin-tech firms, to develop and build out a strong portfolio of solutions for customers. The CBO will work with other CXOs and teams on rolling out products for a range of customers, ensuring product development to delivery, thereby creating a market-wide disruption & pioneering a niche model career image
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for building digital alliances & tie-ups with OTT platforms, Ed-Tech, Fin-Tech, E-commerce and other related companies.
- End-to-end on-boarding of digital alliances from lead generation to commercial negotiations, technical integration & closing.
- Building and managing a pan-India digital solutions sales team and creating a network of franchisees
- Developing & managing an independent P&L - effectively driving Revenue Growth for the Digital Solutions vertical
- Developing an SOP for categorizing the partners, process and product design for swift implementation and transparency.
- Creating market-wide disruptions by rolling out strategic alliances and ensuring its success.
- Nurture partner relations and give insights on overall business performance and efficient industry practices on periodic manner.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS :
- MBA with around 20 years of work experience, with 7-10 years in digital product sales; where at least the last 3 years have been spent in leading a national team with P&L responsibility.
- Experience with working in the OTT services space (broadcaster or platform) is essential. Working in similar digital subscription-based services, or at least an understanding of such a model is essential.
- Good understanding of the changing digital landscape and ability to identify opportunities that meet the company's focus and foray into offering integrated digital solutions to customers.
- Capability to motivate and lead a national digital sales team to achieve challenging targets.
- Strong customer focus, with excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills, external and internal.
- Should not be wary of performing in a fast-paced business environment where innovation remains a constant feature.
