Job Title: Chief Business Officer (CBO) / Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Our client is a Global Financial Services Conglomerate, a technology led NBFC. With an Enterprise mindset and a Start-up DNA, it is one of the major players in Financial Services, Digital Lending, Colending, Consumer Lending, etc.
Job Summary :
- You will be responsible for driving the overall growth and strategic direction of our business.
- You will oversee various aspects of our operations, including sales, marketing, partnerships, and customer experience, with a primary focus on expanding our customer base, increasing revenue, and ensuring sustainable profitability.
The CBO / COO will play a vital role in shaping our company's vision and executing strategies to achieve long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the company's business strategy, in alignment with the overall vision and objectives.
- Identify market trends, competitive landscape, and potential business opportunities to drive growth.
- Provide strategic guidance to the executive team and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve business objectives.
2) Business Development :
- Drive customer acquisition efforts, targeting new segments and markets to expand the customer base.
- Foster strategic partnerships and alliances with key stakeholders, including lenders, financial institutions, and technology providers.
- Identify and pursue new revenue streams and innovative business models to maximize profitability.
3) Sales and Marketing:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets, including the establishment of sales goals, compensation plans, and incentive programs.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop comprehensive marketing plans that effectively promote our brand, products, and services.
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to refine sales and marketing strategies for optimal results.
4) Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all functional areas.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Continuously optimize operational processes and workflows to enhance productivity and scalability.
5) Customer Experience :
- Drive a customer-centric culture, ensuring exceptional customer experiences throughout the lending journey.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer retention, satisfaction, and loyalty.
- Regularly gather customer feedback and insights to identify opportunities for product and service enhancements.
Qualifications :
- MUST have 20+ years of experience in lending business.
- MUST have experience in managing Digital Lending / Colending / Partnerships.
- Degree in business administration, finance, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably as a CBO, Chief Revenue Officer, or similar position within a digital lending ecosystem or fintech company.
- Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of the digital lending industry.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing business strategies, driving revenue growth, and expanding market share.
- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data-driven insights for decision-making.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
