Chief Business Officer/Business Head - Lending Startup

Our client is a well funded lending startup which is on the verge of closing institutional funding and is backed by Angel Investors from top FinTechs. Our client is currently operating from Gurgaon and is planning to expand to other cities in India. Our client is looking to build out their management team and hence is looking for a CBO. The CBO will lead innovation and revenue growth initiatives and will work with the CEO to create a strong business roadmap while aligning and driving the team towards successfully achieving it.

Reporting to :

The role reports to the Co Founder.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define the GTM for the Company in association with the Founders.

- Responsible for all existing and new business P&L and driving strong growth through an innovation led business strategy.

- Delivering sales and operations productivity with highest CSAT and NPS scores.

- Strong focus on increasing revenues, meeting sales target, and driving the next stage of growth through innovative product offerings.

- Align cross-functional stakeholders towards implementation of new products and use cases.

- Track and extract insights from business plan on monthly basis - revenue / profitability.

- Leading the overall business strategy for the secured lending business.

Qualifications & Experience :

- 7+ years of experience in creating scale and growth for technology led consumer businesses, fintechs/NBFCs.

- A results-oriented professional with the ability to nurture & lead high performing teams and work in complex cross-functional environments.

- Strong understanding and experience of tech or internet ecosystem.

- Demonstrated track record of leading growth, profitability and transformation in Fintech, Consumer Technology companies.

- Should be a strong communicator with proven experience in leading cross functional teams to operationalize and drive implementation of strategic projects.

- Strong stakeholder management experience and should be passionate about using technology to drive large scale change.
