Chief Accountant - Automobiles

Report to: Country Head

Education: University Degree in Economics / CPA / Accounting High School

Languages: Fluent in English

Objective: Supervises the accounting department and assists management in interpreting and utilizing managerial accounting information, ensures the company finance function is organized and efficient and produces accurate financial and management accounts.

Experience:

- Strong accounting background.

- Deep knowledge of Accounting Principles, Tax, and legal matters.

- Experience in Cash Flow Management, Treasury, and Corporate Finance.

- Skilled in the implementation of the necessary controlling tools and procedures.

- Responsible for the compliance of all the statutory /fiscal and legal fulfilments.

- Skilled in Industrial Controlling and able to manage bills of materials.

- Manage administration and controlling activities in SAP system.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Responsible for knowing critical functions within the administration department and capable of mentoring and assisting employees within the department.

2) Utilizes teamwork to develop departmental synergy.

3) Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company procedures.

4) Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.

5) Assures compliance with local and corporate policies, regulations and laws.

6) Credit Management: set credit limit for each customer and monitor overdue in compliance with corporate procedures.

7) Management of Accounts payables.

8) Responsible for General Ledger and all local fiscal and statutory requirements: Corporate Income Tax, VAT, GST, other local taxes .

9) Issues the annual statutory financial statement according to local GAAP.

10) Assures the application of corporate procedure for Capex investment.
