Chemveda Life Sciences - Sourcing & Purchase Manager

- Procurement of Raw Materials, Key Starting Materials (KSMs), Intermediates, consumables etc.

- Search and source potential suppliers and vendors. Build and maintain relationship. And maintain the database of approved supplier.

- Developing alternate suppliers to have quality materials at competitive cost with better terms

- Preparing list of pending indents / Purchase orders for delivery for follow up with respective users / suppliers to ensure timely receipt of materials

- Receiving and Scrutinizing the authorized Purchase Requisitions (Indents) / user requirements by mail for the allocated items by department head

- On scrutinizing indents, exercising effective inventory control by checking Stores stock thereby reducing & avoiding inventory build-up

- Floating enquiry to the approved suppliers and obtaining offers from suppliers and scrutinize the same technically and commercially

- Forwarding the quotes to user departments for technical evaluation and obtaining approval from them wherever required

- Formulating the price comparison statement with previous purchase price, pending PO quantity, Stores stock and average consumption details

- Checking & monitoring the procurement budget.

- Preparing and releasing the purchase orders / work orders after audit and approval

- Follow up with suppliers and ensuring the timely receipt of materials and services

- Logistics arrangements for incoming and outgoing materials wherever required

- Should be able to effectively manage internal / external customers & stake holders
