Requirements for the role:

- The candidate should have a thorough understanding of product development from Idea generation to Launch stage.

- The candidate should have strong technical & product development experience in developing skincare formulations.

- Benchmarking of products in the market, extract claims & work on issues in the products to deliver safe, effective & premium products.

- This role will include working with external vendors like packaging & contract manufacturers.

- Collating consumer feedback before product launch & post launch monitoring for improvements (if required).

- Understanding consumer requirements & feedback so that these can be incorporated in the new products.

- Excellent management skills & ability to motivate/train juniors in the team.

- Understanding market trends to innovate the category portfolio according to consumer needs.

- This role with involve regular interaction with other functions including marketing, manufacturing, procurement & other functions.

- Developing effective communication mechanisms to ensure that new product launch is on time as planned.

Qualifications & Experience:-

- Degree in Chemistry/Cosmetics Science.

- 5 plus years of experience in personal care categories strongly preferred.

- Hands on experience in managing timelines for launch of NPD- s, project tracking & network between different departments.

- Work on projects for OTIF delivery.

- Develop product line with differentiation on a product.

- Experience of Project management for effective handling of the project.

- Superior written and verbal communication skills, particularly with respect to active listening and integrating information from various sources quickly.
