Chef's Basket - Senior Manager - Planning - FMCG Startup - IIT

Responsibilities :

- Responsible for annual business planning

- Demand planning & forecasting.

- Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Supply Planning to help manage introductions, re-stages and discontinuations

- Development of detailed consensus forecast. After buy- in of consensus forecast for items based on sales, marketing, independent forecast inputs and statistical analysis this forecast needs to be further detailed into weekly buckets at the item location level for Production and replenishment planning.

- This will include use of advanced tools and knowledge of statistical forecast modelling, causal modelling and linear regression forecasting. High level consensus forecasts must be entered in to SAP or an alternate ERP, and detailed accordingly

- Drive improvement in forecast accuracy by analysing existing processes and making recommendations; drive tracking of performance of SKUs

- Drive continuous improvement by examining existing planning processes and making recommendations for improvement

- Coordinating with CFA's & Inventory control

Desired Skill Sets :

- 6 - 10 years of experience in a Senior Planning Role into FMCG/Food Industry

- Champions new ideas and approaches within demand planning, taking into consideration broad organizational issues

- In results focused and takes initiative for achieving goals and objectives resulting in improved forecast accuracy

- Provides forecast information that people need to know to do their jobs

- Builds effective relationships with people at all levels
