Chartered Accountant - UK/European VAT Tax - Investment Bank

Role :

- Preparation of monthly UK/European country VAT working files and returns

- Run queries in People soft and draw reconciliation of input and output VAT

- String understanding of EU reverse charges rules

- Monthly VAT expense analysis and reconcile numbers with GL

- Draw analytics for any movement in VAT numbers

- Review AR invoices and provide VAT guideline

- Build additional controls to streamline and efficient VAT process

Skills :

- Chartered Accountant with 2 to 4 years- experience in tax, some level of knowledge of accounting and Financial Services

- UK VAT/Indian GST experience is preferable

- Excellent communication skills - Oral and Written

- Ability to train/mentor staff by providing challenging yet a friendly environment

- Should have working knowledge of PeopleSoft with respect to running various queries from the financials

- Strong analytical and interpretation skills
