About Client :India's largest passenger car company, accounting for over 50 per cent of the domestic car market. Total turnover for the fiscal 2008-09 stood at Rs. 203,583 Million & Profit After Tax at Rs. 12,187 Million. The client exports entry-level models across the globe to over 100 countries and the focus has been to identify new markets. Some important markets include Latin America, Africa and South East Asia. The client sold 53,024 units during 2007-08. This is the highest ever export volume in a year for the company, and marked a growth of 35 per cent over the previous year.

Role :

- Maintenance and reconciliation of records of various types of loans and advances provided to different vendors.

- Pay roll processing - Mandate

- Calculation of monthly interest on advances provided against supplies to different vendors.

- Reconciliation & Accounting of the Inter Plant stock transfers, its control & reporting.

- To ensure effective controls are exercised for timely processing of all invoices and payments.

- Analysing indirect tax related issues in processing payments.

- Preparation of schedules as per new schedule VI requirement.

- Monthly ageing analysis of advances and liabilities.

- Reporting different MIS reports to management on monthly and quarterly basis.

- Monitoring various reports, identifying and carrying out actions as required.

- Managing and co-ordinating with statutory auditors ,internal auditors and other auditors

- Hands on exposure in atleast one ERP highly preferred.
