Some of the key focus areas for the team include Preparation of Financial Statements under local and US GAAP; Regulatory Reporting and Group Consolidation

1. Legal entity controllership of broker dealer entities which includes month end reporting and preparation of schedules for consolidation & Intercompany Reporting & support GL close for Local GAAP & US GAAP

2. Ensuring Financial statements are complete, accurate & prepared in a timely manner and are in accordance with applicable GAAP- s

3. Responsible for entity consolidation along with financial disclosures for quarterly & annual filings to various regulators under US GAAP.

4. Responsible for stabilizing & financial reporting migrations,

5. Regional Consideration - Driving standardization of process over time from Mumbai, Process efficiency and ensuring focus on added value work.

6. Liaising with the regional Controllers. Having an understanding of financial reporting process.

7. Needs to understand the Business and Structure of the Legal Entities assigned.

8. Ownership of key controls supporting the General Ledger and other reporting applications including managing the SOX compliance
