Chartered Accountant - Fund Accountant - Asset Management Business

Asset Management Company in Mumbai is currently hiring a Fund Accountant who will be responsible for providing clients with accurate and timely accounting services in line with client's business needs.

Main Responsibilities of a Fund Accountant

Your responsibilities will include:

- Deliver accurate and timely production and delivery of reporting to clients by ensuring efficient and accurate trade processing, NAV review, Corporate Actions processing, security valuation, financial statements production, query handling and other ad-hoc reporting for funds

- Ensuring that team members comply with operating policies, procedures and guidelines for the completion of Fund Accounting processes.

- Ensuring service level agreements, memorandums and client delivery summaries are maintained.

- Acting as a point of escalation for complex client issues

Key Requirements:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CPA, ACCA or equivalent) or possess a CFA degree. prior experienceof2 to 4 years in a similar role. possess a strong knowledge of fund operations, including valuation, accounting and payment procedures. well versed in the MS Office suite. are a strong team player, organized and possess a high attention to detail. possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
