Chartered Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our team. As a Chartered Accountant with expertise in the preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Internal Auditing, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement effective SOPs and conduct internal audits. The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of experience in the same field or relevant articleship experience in internal audit and/or SOP preparation.

Responsibilities:

- Develop, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for various business processes.

- Ensure SOPs are aligned with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

- Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with SOPs, policies, and procedures.

- Identify risks and control gaps through audit procedures and provide recommendations for improvement.

- Perform risk assessments and assist in developing risk mitigation strategies.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure understanding and adherence to SOPs.

- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented controls and make necessary adjustments.

- Provide training and support to team members regarding SOPs and internal controls.

- Prepare audit reports, highlighting findings, recommendations, and areas of improvement.

- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to SOPs and internal auditing.

Requirements:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 1-2 years of experience in SOP preparation and/or internal auditing, or relevant articleship experience in internal audit and/or SOP preparation.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and internal control frameworks.

- Experience in developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for various business processes.

- Familiarity with internal auditing methodologies, tools, and techniques.

- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

- Proficiency in MS Office applications.

- High ethical standards and integrity.
