Channel Manager - Pharmacy  Responsibilities :   - This position will be responsible to drive a Pharmacy agenda in the region through various GTM initiatives, Trade Marketing Plans & specialized capability building of Pharmacy field force.   - The position will also work closely with Expert Sales in the region to leverage synergies within this channel.   - This position will also ensure that various plans related to NPDs are executed as per plan in the region as well as various demand generation activities are well supported.   - In addition the role will also co-create the strategy and execution within the region the coverage of hospitals and capture various revenue opportunities as this has been identified as a strategic enabler.  - Position will work closely with multiple stakeholders at the regional level including the RCMM, RCEM, BSM & ASM, RESM  - Position will report to region head with dotted line to the National Pharmacy GTM Channel Manager.  - To execute a process, people & technology led strategy to ensure capability building of Sales Force through delivery of appropriate training programs. Capability building initiatives for both Pharmacy Specialty as well as GT sales force to manage pharmacies effectively.  - Understand the pharmacy Go-to-market models in the industry and design best-in-class solutions for regions   - Align Pharmacy Regional GTM model with Customer Marketing, Modern Trade, RCEM, GT and Marketing Teams to ensure access of our products to the last mile  - Lead Pharmacy channel projects at National & Regional level to determine most suited solutions   - Work with Regional Leadership Teams to drive the Pharmancy agenda and realise the targeted growth   - Continuous review and development of Sales Systems, Processes and SOPs related to Pharmacy Channels and share with relevant stakeholders   - Review Infrastructure Requirement and work with the Regional Leadership Teams for execution across region wide distributors  - Drive commercial efficiencies in the Pharmacy GTM through optimization of channel partner commercial models with collaboration with Commercial Finance.  - Develop actionable Analytics & Insights on the underlying dynamics behind sales and distribution for providing Pharmacy GTM solutions to the Sales Leadership team within the region  - Support in implementing and driving strategic IT enabled sales & distribution solutions to drive long term sustainable development of the pharmacy channel   - Responsible for imparting relevant training to business associates eg Pharmacists, hospitals, clinics & other relevant external stakeholders  Requirements :  Graduate/Post Graduate with 5+ years of experience, out of which Ideally 3-4 years of experience in managing OTC category  - FMCG experience would be an added advantage in addition to OTC Knowledge   - Understanding of Pharmacy Channel   - Knowledge of FMCG/Pharma Sales Systems & Processes  - Should be familiar with product categories & best practices associated with them.  - Understanding of and experience in building Trade Partnerships.  - Through understanding of all trade channels, distributor and depot operations.  - Application of IT in Commercial Operations  - Understanding of the Pharma/FMCG business and trading environment  - Understanding of Sales processes and selling techniques.  - Negotiation and influencing skills  - Data Interpretation & Analytical skills
