Channel Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate an effective Partner program
- Identify, Appoint and Manage Partner relationships to ensure the Sales Targets are achieved through Partners
- Meet stiff Sales & collection targets for defined regions through Partners as set, as individual contributor
- Mine opportunities thru partners, or locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities
- Screens potential business deals through Partners,identifying client needs and goals, deal requirements and financials; evaluating options; resolving &recommending the appropriate solution
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
- Track competition movement
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
- Updates job knowledge by participating in relevant Partner network forums such as Microsoft, IBM events etc; maintaining personal networks
- Demonstrate initiatives for refinement & strengthening of existing product
Desired Profile:
- Min. 5-6 years experience of managing Partner Network for any ERP software (preferably HR software on Cloud model) to corporate / B2B to various industry verticals
- Past experience in Partner Management mandatory
- Ready to travel extensively across the assigned region
- Have strong drive to meet sales targets thru Partner network; demonstrate strong analytical,negotiation & closing skills
- Candidate will be required to be in regular touch with the Partners CEO/MD and also in contact with the senior management of the end customer key stakeholders like HR head, CFOs/CXOs and hence required to have good communication & presentation skills
