Channel Head - Maternal Education Channel - Television Network

The first of a kind TV channel with large expansion plans as mentioned below

- World's largest malnutrition focused maternal education channel. The program will educate 250+ million mothers in 5 years

- A closed television network, installed in the waiting room of all 25,000 paediatricians and 30,000 Obstetrician & Gynaecologists in the country

- The network will show short-format content focused on educating mothers on best practices for good maternal and child health

- This education will prevent child malnutrition, stunting and maternal malnutrition

Role : Channel Head

Work Experience : 6+ years of Experience

Based in what Location : Mumbai

Key skills :

- Excellent team management and leadership skills

- Good Communicator, should be able to work in a team environment & have excellent coordination skills

- Excellent Negotiator and problem solving abilities

- Prior experience in Programming preferably with lifestyle/ nutrition based channels - would be an added advantage

- Excellent knowledge of Channel & TV Programming

- Looking out for candidates who are enthusiastic about the healthcare sector & would like to be part of a growing organization

- Someone who is sharp, bright and committed to social ventures

- Open to candidates currently on a sabbatical

Key Deliverables:

- Responsible for all operational management

- Develop, maintain and supervise the team for the channel

- Establish programming strategy

- Provide day to day management to the TV station and work very closely with subordinate manager and make sure that the channels run smoothly and successfully

- Would be leading the team to achieve channel goals

- Work closely with the finance team to ensure proper budget in place

- Develop plans for the growth and expansion of the channel, interact with the founders to finalize future plans, ensure effective implement of approved plans, and monitor progress on a continuous basis to guard against deviations.

- Responsible for conceptualizing & executing all the creative content for the channel
