Channel Development Manager

There is an urgent opening with my client which is into Information Security Solutions with their global presence in US, Europe, India, Middle East and Malaysia.

Position -

Channel Development Manager –

- Candidates hoping to become channel development managers must have at least four to six years experience in managing channel partnerships, effective presentation skills, the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.

- Recruit new prospective partners by scheduling new meetings and effectively presenting value proposition with ability to customize the presentation depending on the needs of the partner.

- Develop a plan for overall channel partner sales growth, including recruitment and certification of new value added resellers.

- Communicate value proposition, company vision, product and service capabilities to target partner targets.

- Defining and executing partner sales plans, Assess and monitor the business of partners.

- Drive joint partner/channel sales opportunities, including the negotiation of a favorable outcome for all parties. Manage sales orders and provide status to partners and/or manager.

- Providing weekly reporting of pipeline and forecast.

- Keeping abreast of competition, competitive issues and products.

Success Metrics

- Quota attainment.

- Pipeline quarter over quarter growth.

- Training and support of partners.

Professional Requirements

- Bachelor's degree required.MBA Preferred.

- 3 - 4+ years’ sales experience in channel appointment and management in Mumbai / Bangalore.

- Strong relationships in channels in respective cities in IT Industry.

- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).Excellent presentation skills.

Salary Range - 8 to 9 lakhs p.a
