Chandigarh Distillers & Bottlers - Head - Fuel Purchase

Summary :

Reporting to Group Purchase Head, the primary function of this role is purchase of Fuel required for all the Distillery Plants of CDB Group

Responsibilities :

Purchase :

- Procurement of Boiler Fuel for all the units and ensuring regular supply for smooth operations

- New Vendor Development for Fuel procurement

- Adding multiple agri-fuels for Karnal for cost effective purchase

Strategy/Profitability :

- Conducting complete planning of Fuel procurement and formulating procurement strategy

- Implementing cost saving measures to achieve reduction in terms of procurement costs, logistics cost and inventory cost

- Constantly monitoring and controlling steam cost

Research :

- Benchmarking with other industries related to material type, cost & payment terms

- Conducting market analysis and research to forecast material price and availability trends for better planning

Communication :

- Regular follow-up with vendors for timely supply

Salary Range: 5-7 LPA
