Implementation of Commercial/Financial Strategy:
- Preparing, Analysing MIS reports & providing these reports to Senior Management and France Head Office to help in taking informed business decisions.
- Tracking monthly revenue & profitability by analysing Profit & Loss Account, further analysing the area wise/segment wise revenue, profitability & ration analysis.
- Cash Flow Statement & Projected Cash Flow Statement
- Variance from Budget
- Accounts Receivable with aging
- Statutory Compliance Report
- Keeping track of variances by Variance Analysis & initiate corrective measures. Variances to be discussed with Senior Management & France Head Office & keep a watch on corrective actions taken.
- Cost Benefit Analysis of various activities and projects to maximize the Net Margins of company.
- Forecasting & administration of working capital requirements to reduce the cost of funds.
Requirement of working capital to be monitored through various daily, weekly and monthly reports.
Control on Inventory management by:
- Regular Auditing
- First in First out method
- Prioritize with ABC analysis
- Regular reporting on slow moving/non-moving inventory
Statutory Compliance & Accounting:
- Administrating timely payment of various taxes & timely filling of returns with respective authorities. Overseeing the Compliance of other applicable Acts:
- Goods & Services Tax (GST)
- Income Tax including TDS
- Advance Tax Calculations
- Timely reporting to MCX
- Companies Act
- Value Added Tax and Central Sales Tax
- Service Tax
- Customs Act
Defining SOPs for finance & accounting function and watch over implementation of the same to micro level
- Controlling on preparation of Books of Accounts as per the Accounting Standards (AS).
Examining creation of Provisions for monthly closing of Books of Accounts to ascertain the profit/loss during the respective month.
- Review of all the Signed Clients Contracts, SOWs and establish control to ensure the timely invoicing of all the clients.
- Liaising with Statutory Auditors for timely completion of Audit.
- Overseeing activities related to finalisation of Dealers commission & target bases incentives.
Timely settlement of all issues related to Dealers.
- Administration of Insurance Policies- Marine, Assets, Stocks etc.
Internal Controls & Audit:
- Develop and oversee control system to prevent or deal with violations of Statutory/legal guidelines and internal policies. Evaluate the efficiently of controls and improve them continuously.
- Overseeing Internal Audit in Company.
- Control on Payable & procurement procedures, Sales procedure, Expenses disbursement procedure & all other procedures, where funds are involved, directly or indirectly.
Formulation & Implementation of Policies:
- Formulation of policies keeping an eye on organisational goals, business environment, having proper participation from members of organisation, so that these are easily acceptable to all.
- Watch over implementation of such policies, deviations to be monitored and make changes in the same, if required.
Legal Aspects:
- Collaborate with Corporate Counsels to monitor the progress in pending legal cases;
- Income Tax Scrutiny Cases
- Sales Tax & GST related matters
- Preparation & finalisation of Contracts, SOWs, amendments as and when required.
REQUISITE EDUCATION LEVEL & EXPERIENCE
- A Commerce Graduate with Management Degree
- Min 12-15 yrs. relevant experience
- Insightful knowledge of:
- Accounting Packages: Tally ERP 9.0, Webtel, Tax, Head Office MIS.
- Others: Excel/Word/PowerPoint
- Ability to prioritize and plan projects and work effectively.
- Good presentation & Effective Communication skills
- Should have willingness to put in the hard graft.
