Roles and Responsibilities:

- Defining technical budget and playing an active part in company-level strategy

- Develop an aggressive yet practical product roadmap for pushing the boundaries of what's possible today

- Go to the person for technical de-risking for changes and new ideas

- Champion Innovation and Six Sigma within the organization

- Identifying the right technologies for the problem areas identified and driving the New Product Development strategy

- Resource planning, people management and managing conflicts by prioritizing and deprioritizing work as per bigger picture

- Working in ambiguity while ensuring team remains focused and motivated

- Driving cost reduction and customer technological satisfaction for commercialized product.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Minimum Master's degree in a core engineering field

- Leadership and team management experience is must

- Six sigma certified belt

- Hands on Project management skills

- 15+ years of experience in relevant area or industry

- New technology/product development from idea to commercial launch experience

- Analysis led design or any other R&D domain expertise

Note: Tier1 & 2 college candidates are preferred.
