Manger - Product Development (Emission Control)

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Manager with a background in Mechanical Engineering, or Material Science and Chemistry to lead the development of Retrofit Emission control device and related products. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire product development lifecycle from concept to launch. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, engineering, manufacturing, validation, and optimization to ensure successful product development.

Responsibilities:

- Solving problems through R&D innovation i.e. Product & Process involving research, data collection and reporting.

- Leading the brainstorming sessions for new idea generation

- Conducting scientific literature searches to support experimental study design and assisting with experiment/project execution.

- Build the product strategy and roadmap in line with customer's problems and company s vision

- Lead a set of cross functional teams by translation of the product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes to drive the product development goals

- Identify market opportunities with research and competitive analysis and integrate it into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction

- Analyze complex use cases with experience in using analytics platforms to understand product usability and break them down to simplify user experience

- Develop and launch new products while enhancing the existing products on a timely basis

- Communicate the product solutions and offerings effectively internally and externally

- Assist Delivery and Operations team with customization requests and technical feasibility responses to the clients

- Participate with Core- team in making key Product and tech roadmap related decisions

- Benchmarking the existing products and technology to create an improvement in the existing products

- Understanding the product characteristics based on results & observations and coordinating with the team to provide integrated solutions

- Study various engineering changes, impact analysis, budgeting & planning for development related activities.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

- Exposure /experience in Product Development

- Minimum 4 years of experience in Product development

- Background in Mechanical Engineering, or Material Science and Chemistry

- Experience in BS4/BS6 ATS will be an added advantage

- Knowledge in Tools such as AVL Firre, GT Power Suite etc. will be an added advantage
