Roles & Responsibilities:

- Development of Lean Manufacturing Process and Material Flow Layouts

- Design stores & logistics, material handling concept. Development of inventory strategies

- Production equipment, cycle time, capacity planning and utilization rate balancing

- Master layout approvals

- Manufacturing facility requirements with detailed specifications

- Installation and commissioning of manufacturing equipment's, Manufacturing qualifications, final acceptance and SOP

- Project and cash flow management

- Process costing

- Proto development and serial production at vendor base

- Manufacturing process development

- Value Stream Designing

- Development of assembly specifications, capacity planning, manufacturing facility technical specifications, vendor base creation, procurement, installation and commissioning

- Training on Lean Concepts and Improvements to team

- Process improvements

- Cycle time study and line balancing

- Capacity planning through process optimization of work centres

- In-house & supplier-end process development

- Streamline production lines with Lean principles and Lean methodologies

- Support new product introduction programs

- RFQ preparation for CAPEX procurements

- Implementing Kaizens & other improvements methodologies such as line balancing, lean manufacturing, Value stream mapping etc.

- Practical knowledge of workstation design, Process design & ergonomics

- Knowledge of world-class manufacturing processes & methodologies.

- Experience in 3M (Muda, Mura, Muri) analysis of plant operations.

- Awareness about best practices for Industry 4.0

- Drive Continuous improvement in the manufacturing processes.

- MOST implementation to determine the number of workers and productivity of winding section of transformers

- Conducting Time study, work-study in manufacturing as well as non-manufacturing areas to set norms, to suggest improvement ideas for better utilization of resources.

- Identifying and executing process improvement, operational excellence, and cost-saving, waste reduction projects.

- Analysing reasons for line stoppages & their graphical representation on daily basis in morning meeting.

- Analysing and presenting TPM and OEE data.

- Responsible for calculating the process capacity for machine and assembly line.

- Knowledge of increase the productivity and minimize the rejection in process line.

- Implementation of Poke- yoke (Error Proofing), MSA & FMEA.

- An Effective Communicator & negotiator with strong analytical, problem solving & Organizational capabilities.
