Role : Risk Head

Vertical : Risk

Reporting to : CRO

Designation : Commensurate with experience

Experience : 6-10 years post highest qualification

Qualifications : MBA or CA or FRM/PRM

Location : Bangalore

Key Responsibilities :

1. Analyse monthly portfolio numbers in terms of portfolio quality & risk areas

2. Develop & monitor the risk framework and tools (scorecards, gradings, negative list, etc)

3. Expand risk coverage to all areas of enterprise risk management

4. Measure risk in lines with RBI guidelines, Basel norms, IND-AS framework

5. Estimate loan losses and publish provisioning targets

6. Ensure risk compliance in lines with regulatory norms

7. Good understanding of NBFC/Bank operations, loan products, systematic & systemic risk events

8. Identify emerging risks that present new regulatory, reputational, or operational risks

9. Lead a team of 3-4 analysts / managers, groom talents

10. Prepare monthly / periodic risk & industry reports for internal and external stakeholders

11. Consistently be in touch with external databases, economic & industry reports, credit bureau & research articles, and other open-source information related to the company's business

12. Update management from time to time on key risk issues & concerns

13. Ensure that risk remains on the top of priority for all business verticals and senior Management

Skills required :

- 6-10 years- work experience in Risk vertical in a Bank / NBFC / financial institution (not KPO or IT)

- Good knowledge of Basel norms, RBI, IND-AS ECL guidelines, and risk measurement approaches

- Strong in analytics and usage of analytical tools, spreadsheets, word, and power points

- Broad knowledge of the macro economy, banking industry, and economic indicators

- Working knowledge of SQL/Python would be a plus
