Profile Head, Business Intelligence & Analytics

Designation Sr. Manager / AGM / GM

Reporting to : CXO

Experience : 8+ years in relevant field

Qualifications : Any postgraduate / engineer, with relevant experience

Location : Bangalore

Key Responsibilities :

Functional :

1. Lead a team of analysts handling MIS, business intelligence, and data analytics

2. Lead analytics and modelling projects impacting business, credit, risk, collections and finance

3. Maintain and improve data infrastructure and associated tools

4. Drive automation across reporting, data consumption, and recurring processes

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data & analytics projects, business intelligence, data cleansing and storage, strengthening data security, and enhancing user experience

6. Work with CXOs and senior management in application of analytics in strategy & decision making

People Management :

7. Build and sustain a high-performance team with diverse and connected skill sets

8. Upskilling of self and team with best industry practices, new skills, tools, and techniques

9. Training and upskilling of colleagues for better application of data & analytics in their profession

10. Improve quality of work, job satisfaction, and work-life balance for self as well as team

11. Add value to the organization growth by creating a data-driven culture

Skills required :

Must haves :

- 6+ years' relevant work experience; preferably in any Bank, NBFC or financial services company

- Strong in analytics & logical decisioning traits

- Demonstrated autonomy, thought leadership, and learning agility

- Good inter-personal & negotiation skills, decent communication skills, collaborative attitude

- Exposure to financial services modelling techniques, testing & implementation of models

- Proficiency in analytical tools and languages such as advanced excel, SQL, Python, R/SAS, etc

- Working knowledge of any BI or data visualization tool(s)

Good to have, but non-mandatory :

- Knowledge of RBI norms, BASEL norms, IND-AS, and best practices in the lending industry

- Team management and team-building experience
