About the Organization:

Citizens Foundation for Better India is an organization comprising young professionals from premier institutes such as IITs, IIMs, Harvard, Stanford etc. having worked across top corporate groups across the country. Citizens Alliance aims to improve the overall quality of life by implementing sustainable solutions through collaborative actions at scale. We focus on evidence-based interventions in domains of Education, Health, Livelihood, and Community Solutions.

About the Project:

An outreach initiative which aims to positively alter the perception of large sections of populace through community outreach in rural/semi-urban areas. There will be customized data-driven programs for multiple socio-economic strata across geographies. The project shall be based in Patna for the first 6 months and move to NCR after that period.

Key Responsibilities:

- Candidate shall be a part of the core project planning team and lead a module within it

- Responsible for end-to-end implementation of module at grass root level

- Maintain partnerships with all stakeholders including key positions of authority

- Conduct awareness and mobilization campaigns for all stages of the project

- Foresee potential pitfalls and ensure seamless execution of the module

- Set up data collection and reporting systems from grass roots to central team

- Identify gaps and ensuring they are addressed on time

- Any other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time

Skills and Competencies:

- Graduate with about 2-5 years of experience in public engagement, on-ground project implementation and outreach in semi-urban/rural areas

- Good oral and written communication skills. Fluency in Hindi is a must

- Candidates with background from North/East Indian states such as Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Orissa, Bengal would be preferred

- Strong networking, negotiating and relationship building skills

- Good leadership skills. Should be able to manage team and allocate work

- Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office
