Job Description

The Entity Accountant will be responsible for the project to load deals to Geneva World Investor in preparation of books and records.

Responsibilities include - 

- Preparing and maintaining the books and records, for U.S. reporting purposes, of various types of legal entities organized under various jurisdictions;

- Accounting for inter-entity transactions;

- Monitoring the movements of cash within the deal and fund structures;

- Calculating allocations of income and expenses up to the different classes of limited partners of the private partnership investing funds; and

- Working with Fund Accountants to reconcile differences between private partnership investing funds and their legal entities.

Required Experience

- Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in accounting; CPA preferred;

- 4-8 years of accounting experience within the financial services industry preferred, but not required;

- Strong appreciation for the importance of investment structures and the maintenance of their books and records;

- Strong knowledge of reconciliation and account analysis;

- Excellent understanding of accounting and the ability to apply relevant company accounting rules;

- Solid analytical skills and ability to understand and resolve complex problems;

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; and

- Experience with Geneva World Investor desirable.
