JOB DESCRIPTION :

We are looking for a Manager Finance to work side-by-side with our CEO and different stakeholders to run finance operations at CertifyOS. The roles and responsibilities include the following but are not limited to :

Finance & Accounts :

- Maintenance of mandatory accounting records, budgets and registers.

- Preparation of management reports including monthly MIS, expense analysis etc.

- Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and ledger structure.

Operations :

- Working with the Operations and the Tech team.

- Coordinating with different stakeholders such as founders, lawyers, investors, bankers, etc.

- You will take over the finance division and work with the accounting team to create KPIs for the leadership team and investors.

- You will find innovative ways to reduce cost and improve efficacy

- Get it done attitude : You move with velocity when given a new problem You enjoy getting to an initial hypothesis quickly with limited data and building a plan to test and improve hypotheses with a path to quickly running experiments to gather more information

- Intellectual Curiosity : You are a fast learner who enjoys taking on new problems that you haven't yet encountered and are able to drive to initial hypotheses quickly. You are resourceful in getting data and enjoy working with others to identify where to go to gather data and propose initial recommendations

- Strong Communication : You are adept at communicating across and collecting information from different parts of the organization. You are comfortable presenting recommendations / a solution and next steps to a management team

What you'll need :

- Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience.

- Education : Chartered Accountant

- Responsible candidate with intent to learn and be part of a team working with passion in helping entrepreneurs building large businesses.

- Working knowledge of Domestic and US Tax laws and basic knowledge of International Accounting Standards

- Ability to organize, coordinate, monitor and implement tasks with limited supervision.

- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications ( PowerPoint/ Word/ Excel) .

- Keen eye for detail and rigor in maintaining accounting and regulatory compliance discipline.

- Experience working with technical teams (i.e. engineering and product) to communicate our requirements, design tooling, and support technical troubleshooting

- Strong people management skills and the ability to build and foster a strong, collaborative team culture
