Our Mission: Every child deserves a great teacher

The Position: We- re looking for a Project Lead for our flagship program, Teacher Pages Innovator Fellowship (TPIF). The fellowship identifies promising teachers, coaches them and films their best teaching strategies, which are released as open source content on YouTube and government websites. The project lead will be responsible for ensuring all timelines and deliverables of the project are met. The project lead will also work along with project team members such as Language and Math pedagogues and expert consultants who create the program content to ensure content and other related deliverables are met, and report to the CEO about all developments in the project.

Job Profile:

- Lead and manage the team of Language and Math pedagogues, expert consultants and coordinators assigned to the TPIF project.

- Oversee, contribute and ensure quality in developing training modules, preparation of training material for Teacher workshops.

- Oversee and facilitate workshops. Support team to enable teachers to develop and conduct effective lessons through on-site/distance coaching

- Oversee the professional learning circles with teachers who participate in the fellowship.

- Ensure with pedagogues appropriate delivery of lessons for film shoots

- Liaison with various stakeholders such as school authorities and the government

- Create and implement a project plan, maintaining close monitoring or its implementation

- Preparation and participation in review meetings

- Ensure preparation of project reports and their timely submission

- Monitor the expenses against the budget

- Remuneration: In the range of 65K to 70K per month depending on qualifications and experience

Eligibility Criteria :

- Min. of 12 to 15 years of experience in project management. Education focus is preferable.

- Proven track record of having managed large multi-stakeholder projects

- Has worked in senior capacity as program manager

- Has good project management skills, expertise in use of project management tools

- Has good leadership and motivational skills by carrying everyone along without bias

- Good crises management skills to handle pressure from project challenges

- Fluency in spoken and written Marathi

- Post graduate degree in the field of education or comparable qualification and/or relevant experience
