1. Updation of asset register and revenue records & Valuation of lands
2. Protecting the lands from SRA acquisition (since most of the lands are declared slums/encroached)
3. Business Development - Preparing a business plan for monetization of the land parcels and getting the trustee's approval
- Execution of the business plan which would either involve
- Selling the lands on an "as-is-where-is" basis
- Scouting for JV partners for joint development
4. Driving the key legal matters in conjunction with the legal team
5. Getting back Government acquired lands through proper legal means
6. Representations to various Government authorities on an on-going basis
7. Oversight of Finance, Taxation, IT, Day to day administration
8. Kune and Thane Lands - The work involves cleaning up the land records which involves extensive liaisoning with the revenue authorities and bringing the permissions upto date, making the lands marketable, formulating and executing business plan for monetizing the land
parcels.
DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
1. Minimum 12-15 years of work experience and knowledge to take charge of the land parcels and to develop and monetize them in order to realize the best value.
2. Have good knowledge of land matters including valuation, revenue records, good finance & legal acumen and should be a good people manager
3. Good networking with brokers & property related governmental bodies
