CEO/Business Head - MEP & Solar

One of our esteemed clients is looking for a CEO/Head of Business MEP & Solar to be based in Uganda. The role is for growth-oriented people with entrepreneurial mindset.

Our client is a conglomerate, having many businesses, are based in Kenya and a leading solution provider in East and Central Africa.

They are in the business of MEP, ICT, ELV and Solar. They are leading engineering and contracting companies managing high value and multiple complex projects. They have grown through vertical and horizontal integration to - MEP, ICT/ELV, Solar, Construction, Quarrying, Plastic manufacturing, Real Estate and other new ventures to come which aims to double the business in the next few years.

They are constantly improving services, advocating sustainable energy and embracing modern technology adding values for our clients needs by recommendation of green technology and appropriate materials.

Candidate have making major corporate decisions, managing the overall operations and resources of a company, acting as the main point of communication between the board of directors (the board) and corporate operations and being the public face of the company. A CEO is elected by the board and its shareholders.

- Masters degree in Business Administration or Business related equivalent

- Masters degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field is highly desirable

- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

- Minimum of 10-20 years engineering experience

- Minimum of 10 years supervisory experience

- Minimum of 5 years in managing business turnover of approx. $20 million or more

- Experience in managing high value and complex multiple projects

- Experience in MEP/Solar in ME or Africa will be an added advantage
