Position Summary   The QS ( Quantity Surveyor ) team is responsible for Estimation, Tendering, Bill of Quantity, Bill Of Materials and Billing to the Client for CentriX. Driving commercial value and competence will be the core strength and responsibility of the team.   The candidate will be an Associate with the QS team and would be based out of Bangalore.   The Associate would report to the Director of Operations in Bangalore   Principal Responsibility   Develop strong working knowledge of the technology supporting the QS . Knowledge of the rates prevalent in the current market conditions in the Interior Construction industry will be vital and important. Being a part of the Interior Construction Industry will be a key deciding factor.   Manage the vendor base and get the best possible rates from the vendors while deciding on awarding of the project.   Technology being the backbone of growth, sound knowledge and domain expertise will be expected from the candidate.   Taking out the calculation of the BOM being the most important part of the job, experienced candidates having previously worked on the BOM will be given preference.   Communication skills and deep knowledge of the construction field a must  Integrity and Honesty will be of paramount importance.   Educational Qualification   Civil Engineer from reputed A grade institutes is mandatory   Additional QS degree will be an advantage   A course in Construction Management is advantageous   Experience   5 to 10 years having worked in the QS department in a leading Architecture, Interior Design or Interior FitOuts company a must   Having experience working in a Dubai or Middle East company would be advantageous   Candidate with Joinery Background would be preferred   Firm Overview :   CentriX Projects the Brand Name for Centrix Interiors Pvt.
