Job Description:

Fund and Investment Manager Accounting:

- Manage fund accounting, including investor contributions, expenses, and financial closings, NAV calculations.

- Oversee investment manager accounting, including management fees, payroll, and expenses.

- Handle monthly and quarterly financial reporting, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.

- Act as the main contact for auditors and regulatory authorities, ensuring timely completion of audits.

Fund Administration and Investor Reporting:

- Track capital calls and issue units to investors.

- Coordinate with fund administrators on investor documentation and distributions.

- Prepare and distribute investor reports, NAVs, and other communications.

Compliance and Regulatory Filings:

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and prepare regulatory filings.

- Serve as the primary contact for trustees and regulators.

Tax Filings and Planning:

- Manage tax activities, including planning, filing, and reporting.

- Handle direct and indirect tax computations and deductions.

Valuations and Risk Management:

- Oversee portfolio valuation process and manage risks at fund and portfolio company levels.

Legal and Secretarial Oversight:

- Maintain fund documents and oversee audits and due diligence.

- Manage secretarial functions, including filings and meeting conduct.

Portfolio Company Support:

- Assist portfolio companies with financial controls and reporting processes.

- Monitor performance of the Fund's portfolio companies.

Required:

- Chartered Accountant, preferably in the first attempt. Additionally, a Legal or a Company Secretarial degree is preferable.

Work Experience:

- At least 3-5 years of relevant financial experience in a VC / PE fund, with a total professional experience of minimum 7-10 years.

- Experience or exposure to fund operations and accounting practices, regulations, and standards in international / offshore jurisdictions is highly desirable.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
