We at BIC CELLO Pens are looking for IP Manager for our Legal team in Mumbai.  Objective of the Role :  - Strategize a road map for integration and effective management of the global Intellectual Property of the Company. Dimensions include managing existing portfolio, identify unprotected IP assets in the business, civil claims against IP violators, anti-counterfeiting.   - We are looking for someone with extensive handling of TRADEMARKS & LITIGATION of physical products with a broad SKU's.  Role & Responsibilities:  IP Prosecution :   - Integrate the existing trademark portfolio by following up on prosecution of files, contesting opposition proceedings, creating dockets for top trademarks   Identifying IP assets :  - Conduct an IP audit of the company to identify unprotected IP assets and protect the same.   - Streamlining International trademark portfolio   - Follow up on international trademark filings, identify key markets, make applications for protection of identified brands in key markets, create a network of attorneys to service international IP portfolio   Design protection :  - Create a process for protection of designs, devise offensive and defensive strategy for existing design portfolio  NPD process :   - Collaborate with marketing and R&D team to ensure protection of all IP rights in new product development   Anti-Counterfeiting:  - Develop a strategy and engage service providers to effectively counter lookalikes, counterfeits in India and global markets   Reporting to : CLO (Chief Legal Officer)  Internal Interactions (Within the Organization): Chief Marketing Officer & Marketing team, Chief R&D, Quality Officer, BIC Global IP team  About the Company:  BIC is a leading French MNC into manufacturing and marketing of stationery products like ballpoint pens, gel pens, rollers, mechanical pencils, correction products, markers & colors .   BIC is into existence for past 60 years & globally ranks No. 2 in Stationary Division.  In 2015, with 100% BIC ownership Cello Pens is now a part BIC family.   External Links:  http://www.forbes.com/sites/anuraghunathan/2015/12/11/french-stationery-major-bic-buys-indias-largest-maker-of-writing-instruments-cello-pens/#b81affe70749  HR Team
