- We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate technology leader to join the Global Technology Operations (GTO) team as the Director Data and Systems Integrations. The GTO team at Celigo is responsible to digitally transform & scale Celigo's business, unlock productivity and operational efficiency for the organization and help Celigo achieve its mission. This role will lead the expanding data platforms and data engineering team.

- The team focuses on the implementation of data platforms, data warehouse, data lake and data science projects. In this role you will leverage your strong data infrastructure and data architecture skills to implement data-intensive solutions and drive efficiency through project leadership and a long-term vision for how data engineering will help scale Celigo's business. This role will report directly to our CIO.

What you'll achieve:

- Provide technical and architectural leadership, vision and strategy for Data and Systems Integrations at Celigo.

- You will be responsible for designing the target data architecture, modernizing, and optimizing data ingestion, data streaming, pipelines and integrating business Systems, data warehouses.

- Assess our current tooling, scale and impact to identify gaps and facilitate the evaluation and selection of tools and technologies to meet the growing data needs across Celigo

- Work with key stakeholders across GTO and the business (Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance) to develop roadmaps that align with business objectives/priorities and take into account resource availability.

- Be the Celigo champion internally and promote the use of our modern application integration platform to enable automation processes and to seamless data flow across systems and platforms

- Establish an effective enterprise data architecture governance process to enable agility and speed of delivery while ensuring adherence to architecture tenets and security standards

- Define SLA and operating model, working with the stakeholders and GTO to ensure reliability, availability and operational excellence

- Drive the adoption of key engineering principles and practices. For ex: Continuous Integration, Test-Driven Development, data quality and availability etc. to improve quality and reliability of the Integrations we develop

- Keep evolving the team, coach the next generation of technical leaders at Celigo, amplifying their strengths and upleveling skills and culture around Data & Systems Integrations

- Identify and remove impediments for the team and stakeholders, while successfully driving towards key initiatives.

- Establishing a growth mindset and common knowledge base, seeking out learning opportunities for yourself and the team to continue growing

About you :

- You have extensive experience in a leadership role building and managing data and systems engineering teams with focus on building modern technical architectures and tec stacks, data platforms, data pipelines, data warehouses

- Minimum 10+ years of hands on experience in data architecture, data warehousing and developing ELT, integration frameworks and solutions

- You are an inspiring leader with a mindful, collaborative approach to managing a growing and evolving team.

- You have strong organizational skills and planning prowess, with excellent attention to detail

- You are well versed, both in strategic thinking and people management, as well as have deep technological expertise around data engineering and systems/application integrations.

- Experience in leading data engineering and infrastructure teams through periods of rapid growth and scale, understands the big picture and the importance of investing in the core technical foundation.

- Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM development methodologies and software development lifecycle principles

- Able to knowledgeably consult, collaborate and influence on approaches to systems integration, software development, APIs, API management, and data modeling

- Strong working experience with iPaaS platforms such as Celigo, Mulesoft, Snaplogic, etc

- Strong working experience in ETL platforms like dbt, Talend, Fivetran, AWS services, pentaho

- Experience working with teams who use the following models: DevOps, service ownership, and continuous integration/continuous delivery.

- Hands-on with analytical SQL and working with large and complex data sets

- Experience with various databases e.g. MySQL, SQL Server

- Experience with programming languages (Python, Java) and shell scripting

- Experience with reporting and insights tools - e.g. Tableau, Domo, ThoughtSpot

- Experience with statistical tools, and analytical packages is a plus

- Knowledge of Security, Logging, Auditing, Policy Management and Performance Monitoring and KPI for end-to-end process execution
