Learn more about our global opportunities at cebcareers.com  QUANTITATIVE CONSULTANT  Location : Bengaluru  Overview  The Quantitative Consultant at CEB TalentNeuron- (TN) will lead model development and highly experimental analysis to produce innovative solutions while partnering with technology and business leaders. The Quantitative Consultant will work closely with quantitative analysts and research analysts within the Data Science teams to design and run experiments, forecast and research new algorithms.  TN is part of the Big Data and Advanced Analytics Revolution: it provides insight and analysis on labor markets based on the study of more than 1 billion historical labor market records across more than 20 countries. The Quantitative Consultant will have a solid knowledge of the statistical concepts, practices and procedures used in Data Analytics.  Responsibilities  - Building key data sets to empower operational and exploratory analysis  - Building and analyzing dashboards and reports  - Evaluating and defining metrics  - Designing and evaluating statistical modeling experiments  - Develop and test analytical solutions to be leveraged by both internal and external clients  - Coach junior members of the team   Qualifications  - Quantitative degree in Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science, Math, Economics - Bachelors is must, Masters preferred.  Experience  - 5-7 years of relevant industry experience with BS, 3-5 years of experience with MS  - 3+ years of experience preparing large data sets, performing quantitative analysis, hypothesis testing, predictive modeling and presenting results  - Coding: querying language (e.g. SQL); statistical analysis (e.g. R/SAS); creative data visualization (e.g. Tableau), Advanced Excel  - Strategic mindset- you- re thinking a few steps ahead of where the team is at now.  - Driven self-starter with a scrappy, get it done attitude  - Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to interact cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical people  - Experience in managing small teams preferred  - Overall, a highly driven, results-oriented, creative and nimble problem solver who uses hands-on technical data analytics skills and a willingness to do - whatever it takes- to deliver business value quickly  Bonus Points (good to have)  - Experience coding in a general purpose programming language (e.g. Python)  - Exposure to applied machine learning platforms (e.g. Google Prediction API, Microsoft Azure ML)
