We are seeking a data-driven Category Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will manage the business category of our service commerce business. You will play a crucial role in understanding the dynamics of service trends from both the demand and supply sides. Your insights will contribute to the strategic decisions that drive the success of our service commerce platform.

Product overview: The enterprise application that our client intended to develop is a combination of realestate and household offerings where the platform will serve both businesses, developers, and brokers. More like a marketplace, where the combination of consumer services and business offerings will be available.

Domain Skills:

- Sales and Business Development: A strong foundation in sales and business development is essentialto attract new sellers to the hyperlocal platform. This includes prospecting, lead generation, and the ability to close deals.

- Market Research: Knowledge of market research methodologies, including the ability to gather and interpret data to understand market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor performance.

- Demand-Supply Analysis: Understanding the dynamics of demand and supply in a hyperlocal service commerce context is critical. The candidate should be able to analyze both sides of the marketplace and find opportunities to balance them effectively.

- Service Industry Understanding: While not mandatory, prior experience or knowledge of the servicecommerce industry is a plus. Familiarity with the types of services offered, the challenges faced, and the competitive landscape can be beneficial.
