Category Planning Lead - Color Cosmetics

Purpose - Why does it exist?

To lead the plan, source and deliver functions for the colour cosmetics vertical, covering the spectrum of activities from planning to 3P manufacturing coordination to inventory control.

Key Performance Indicators :

1. Inventory levels - measured through DOI, SWOOS, obsolescence levels, freshness of stock.

2. COGS as a % of revenue.

3. Delivered quality measured in number of customer complaints, defects.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the planning function for colour cosmetics and function as the nerve-centre of the supply chain system for the category.

- Liaison with vendors and contract manufacturers for sourcing and production.

- Scale-up and commercialization of innovation projects.

- Leading automation and optimization initiatives related to product, sourcing, logistics and quality across the organization

- Lead continuous value improvement initiatives.

Working relationships - Stakeholders ,Sales, marketing, innovation, SCM, commercial teams.

Mandatories:

1. At least 5 years in planning/SCM roles in colour cosmetics/makeup business

2. Analytically strong with practical problem- solving orientation.

3. Ability to get to the depth of things and interact with diverse stakeholders to get things done.
