Our client is a well-known B2B commerce platform and they are looking to hire a Category Planner/Buying Lead - Apparel to join their office in Delhi. The ideal candidate would be someone with in-depth knowledge of Apparel with the basics of manufacturing in ecommerce industry who understands the demand patterns. Responsibilities: - Proficient in the technical intricacies of materials and product manufacturing. - Practical experience in hands-on sourcing from local unorganized manufacturers. - In-depth knowledge of the demand patterns of Indian retailers, particularly Mom & Pop stores. - Responsible for aligning OTB for the season basis target sell thru. - Formulating Buying Plans (Range Plan, Option Plan, Product Mix etc.) as per budget for the assigned category, based on the analysis of the historical trends and future forecasts - Competitive analysis for accurate pricing strategy - Analysing MIS reports and monitoring STR, Stock Density, Sell Thru - Scaling category through vendor management, pricing, inventory management & sale optimization - Planning new launches and hits for maintaining freshness in the category - Planning promotional strategies for the enhancement in sales for required categories - Ensuring Top-Line & Bottom-Line target achievement with optimum discount planning Requirements: - 8-10 years of experience in a similar space - Proven track record, including a minimum of five years specifically in the non-branded segment/private labels, with expertise in retailers like Dmart, Vmart, Vishal Mega Mart, etc
