Category Manager - Small Appliances Segment - eCommerce

An MBA graduate with 6-10 years of work experience in category management with focus on Small Appliances from off-line retail or e-commerce sector would be suitable. Excellent product management skills are essential. The jobholder acts as process owner for the acquisition to listing activities like on-boarding; pricing & promotions; brand supply chain integration support; omni-channel access etc. (depending on nature of partnership - exclusive/non-exclusive) for the Small Appliances categories.

MAJOR DELIVERABLES:

- To develop and implement Small Appliances category plans consistent with the overall Electronics Category and within budget

- To co-ordinate and research on category trends & competition for this category to make in-roads for sustained growth for present & future.

- To lead and manage the acquisition to listing activities of brands.

- To ensure that the key metrics governing the health this category is met, including P&L.

- To guide and develop the buying team for high levels of performance within the given targets of time, cost and quality

- To ensure legal formalities (on-boarding/integration etc.) with brand partners / vendors to protect organizations interest.

- Interface with internal teams such as planning & merchandising team to drive sales of products
