Category Manager - Retail

Job Description:

- Pricing of merchandise

- Buying stock for budgeted sales target

- Reviewing sales reports to track trends in order to adjust inventory levels accordingly

- Participating in inventory management to ensure adequate supplies of merchandise are available at all times

- Reviewing new products or product lines in order to determine whether they are likely to be successful with consumers

- Communicating with production and design team to coordinate production schedules

- Working with designers, , and other members of the team to develop new product lines or update existing ones

- Reviewing sales data to determine what types of products are selling well in the store, and then ordering more of those items.
