About our Client - Our client is one of the leading retail companies in the world, and are globally renowned for their innovative product portfolio. They have established a significant presence in the India market, and are currently looking to recruit a Category Manager, based out of their corporate HQ in Delhi NCR.
Job Description - Reporting to the Business Head, you will be responsible for
- Defining and implementing the overall strategy for the category, focusing on market trends and tastes/preferences of the ideal consumer segment.
- Further, you will be required to drive sales for the category through competitive pricing/schemes/consumer promotions.
- This role will cover broad aspects of sales, marketing, product, pricing, planning and merchandising.
The Successful Candidate :
- You will be a post graduate with around 10 years of experience in core sales, operations and category management roles in the retail industry.
- Further, you should have the experience of managing large categories/volumes.
- The client is looking for someone with exceptional communication/interpersonal skills, and a hands on approach towards his/her work.
