The Category Manager is responsible for driving sales through premium category Vision Care product planning and execution of strategic product marketing plans, as well as, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with, KAM, Marketing and Professional Services to ensure sales objectives and customer satisfaction goals are met & To lead most premium and scalable category of products in the market and optimizes processes and captures innovative and efficient market solutions to provide a competitive edge to company; to act as a business partner and change agent to fully understand business needs and ensure buy-in and successful implementation of category solutions.  - Develops customer sales strategies by brand/Category to achieve sales goals as established by the Management.   - Creates and implements innovative strategies that deliver genuine breakthroughs in Customer relationship and engagement resulting in tertiary sales in the category  - Visits all the A (as per door report) Top Account Doors at least once every Month, conducts regular professional training/symposiums minimum of 4 times per year (to co-inside with overall training objective) per account.  - Implements and Manage customer assortment / plan by brands at the customer level and set up/reinforce weekly replenishment systems.  - Develops and leads sales and product presentations category wise - X- times a year to each account, conducts business reviews with all of them at least once a month using company provided reports and tools.   - Forecasts weekly sales and for all special projects to the Management, Provides analysis of account sales, inventory, marketing initiatives and merchandising presentations   - Provides recap of all customer meetings with specific action items, and then follows up with all the required parties to ensure timely and satisfactory completion of tasks   - Interfaces with inventory planner on inventory needs and changes to account assortments, inclusive of POM sales.  - Increases territory retail consumption by account by initiating and executing strategies by brand, inclusive of Contests and Promotions.
