Roles & Responsibilities -
- Drive sales and margin for the category (top line and bottom line)
- Understand and help the team to build new initiatives to enhance category margins
- Be the voice of the customer within the Organization, identify consumer needs, and ensure that the team is best placed to meet them
- Keep a track of the changing consumer trends and behaviour for the category
- Own and plan the assortment and earnings strategy for the category
- Plan short- and long-term roadmap for the category in consultation with key stakeholders
- Plan product cycles & product launches with various sellers leading to mutually aligned growth for both sellers & the Organization
- 2-5 Years experience in category management, FMCG/CD brand management/trade marketing/sales function
- Result oriented with a strong bias for action and a high degree of ownership
- Should be able to work with cross functional teams, and communicate with internal and external parties while meeting tight deadlines
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to communicate and influence across levels within and outside the organization
