Category Manager / Sr Ops - FinTech - IIT / NIT / IIM

Designation/Role: Category Manager

Location: Gurgaon, WFO

Working Days: 5.5 days/week (1st and 3rd Saturdays are off)

Experience: 3 to 8 years

Experience in a customer-facing role in a startup is highly preferred.

Job Description:

As part of our Operations team, you will handle operations of the platform to help increase the penetration of financial products and thereby increase financial literacy with the help of financial advisors. Role:

- Being a small company we have a culture of creative problem-solving, intellectual design, fast-paced development, and passionate product delivery.

- Category Management: Building brand partnerships and product portfolio on the platform. Long-term revenue targeting and forecasting.

- Strategic Mindset: You take a long-term vision for the categories, their growth, their revenue targets and how they will impact key business priorities. You would be critical in identifying gaps in the processes, working on its excellence, formulating strategy and resolving conflicts

- Leadership Skills: You must have leadership skills to motivate teams and help them with their goals.

- Communication: You should be able to communicate at different levels with ease. Clear communication is the key to good coordination with the team.

- Analytical: You must be proficient in analytics to identify growth areas and execute.

- Entrepreneurial: You must be able to work under pressure and delegate a set of duties. Ownership is a must trait to experience an entrepreneurial journey for yourself.

Requirements:

- If your biggest superpower is a go-getter attitude, the grit to get things done, and you have an eye for details, this is for you.

- Experience: 4+ years of experience in managing categories with at least a year's start-up experience would be preferred.

- Growth mindset: You embrace challenges, welcome feedback, and see effort as the path to mastery. Looking forward to working on new and challenging problem statements.

- Data-oriented: You should be well versed with data churning. You have a neck for data and your decisions are mostly backed by data.

- Leadership: You have demonstrated experience in leading or managing a team in your past endeavours.
